Welcome to The Artist's Journey! We're delighted to invite you into this creative experience.
These Enrollment Terms outline what you can expect from the program and the shared responsibilities that help us create a supportive, inspiring, and respectful learning environment.
By enrolling in The Artist's Journey, you agree to the following terms.
1. Program Overview
The Artist's Journey is a 12-week online educational experience designed to help participants explore their artistic voices, develop creative skills, and transform original ideas into meaningful artwork.
The program includes live online instruction, creative exercises, and opportunities for artistic exploration. Specific benefits depend on the enrollment option selected at checkout.
We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to lesson content, guest speakers, and instructional activities while maintaining the overall educational experience.
2. Enrollment Options
Full Participation
Full participants receive access to live instruction, group discussions, creative exercises, and opportunities for personalized feedback and critique as described on the program's sales page.
Auditing
Auditing participants receive access to the instructional components specifically included in their selected enrollment option.
Unless otherwise stated, auditing does not include individual critiques, personalized feedback, or active participation in group discussions.
Enrollment benefits and access are limited to the option purchased.
3. Attendance and Participation
Participants are encouraged to attend scheduled sessions and engage with the creative process at their own pace.
While consistent attendance is recommended, participants are responsible for managing their own schedules and completing any optional exercises or assignments.
Missed sessions are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Session Recordings and Consent
Certain live sessions may be recorded for educational purposes and made available privately to authorized participants.
Recordings may include participant names, voices, video, shared artwork, and contributions to group discussions.
Participants will receive advance notice of recording practices, and appropriate consent will be obtained before recording.
Participants who do not wish to be recorded should contact us before participating so that available alternatives can be discussed.
Workshop recordings are intended for authorized educational use only and may not be copied, redistributed, published, or shared outside the program without written permission.
Separate permission will be requested before identifiable participant contributions or artwork are used in public promotional materials.
5. Intellectual Property and Creative Ownership
Participants retain ownership of their original artwork, ideas, and creative submissions.
Sharing artwork during the program grants Make Your Life a Work of Art limited permission to display and discuss that work within the educational experience, including authorized session recordings.
All original instructional materials, presentations, exercises, videos, and other program content created by Make Your Life a Work of Art remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
Enrollment grants participants a personal, non-transferable license to access and use these materials for individual educational purposes.
Program materials may not be reproduced, distributed, resold, or used to create competing educational products without written authorization.
6. Community Guidelines and Confidentiality
The Artist's Journey is designed to foster an encouraging, respectful, and creatively supportive environment.
Participants agree to treat fellow artists with kindness, offer constructive feedback, and respect differences in experience, perspective, and artistic expression.
Participants may not share another student's private information, personal disclosures, artwork, or recorded contributions outside the program without permission.
We reserve the right to address disruptive, harassing, or inappropriate conduct, including restricting participation when reasonably necessary to protect the learning environment.
7. Tuition, Payments, and Cancellations
Tuition is determined by the enrollment option selected at checkout.
All purchases, cancellations, and refund requests are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Enrollment Terms.
If a third-party financing or installment provider is used, its separate payment terms may also apply.
8. Educational Expectations
The Artist's Journey is an educational and creative development experience.
Individual artistic progress will vary depending on experience, participation, personal goals, and time devoted to creative practice.
We do not guarantee particular artistic, professional, or financial outcomes.
9. Program Changes and Availability
We may make reasonable changes to session schedules, instructional formats, guest speakers, or educational materials when necessary.
Participants will be notified of significant changes.
If the program is canceled or materially altered, applicable remedies will be provided in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
